As part of this, I have researched and developed pedagogy in artistic worldmaking, helping students move beyond their influences and generic examples from game design, into creating rich, compelling, and singular expressions that are works of art in their own right.

I'm a digital artist, composer, researcher, and educator with expertise in cross-disciplinarity and creativity. As a university lecturer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with two doctorates (UCSB, Université Paris 8), I possess over 10 years of research experience in the new media arts and the future-of-education creating over 24 immersive art experiences and crafting original pedagogy that combines computation, cognitive science, STEAM, and humanities. I have showcased my art and research internationally at major conferences and venues. I also helped to develop the original THEMAS (STEAM + creative Humanities) pedagogical model (conceptualized by UCSB faculty).
