Journalist + Real Estate Enthusiast = Exactly What We Need
Ellen is very kind and patient. I think she would thrive in an academic writing or technical writing job space, which focuses more on statistics and what a product is. Magazine and news writing have a different tone and feel. Still, I appreciate the amount of research she put into the piece. There were quite a few issues with rewrites, confirming statistics were true (she nailed that the second time), not following the Style Guide and going way over the word count (without asking ahead of time). While I can't move forward with her on our writing team, I definitely think she works hard. It just didn't work out with us.
