With more than 12 extensive years’ experience in all phases of Structural Engineering (Concrete and Steel) for Preparation/Conceptualization, FEED, Structural Analysis, Detailed Designing and Implementation of various structures as well as their Foundations for Petro-Chemical and Gas Plant (Energy and Chemicals) Structures,, Renewable Energy (solar rooftop and ground mounted), LNG, Precast Elements, Mining and Metals facilities / Offshore (Brownfield) and Power Generation (Telecoms and Transmission Lines). Dealing with structures such as Pipe Racks, Equipment Structures, Modules, Shelters, Vessels, Exchangers, Lifting Lugs, Tanks, Compressors...Experienced in Temporary Works such as Formworks Design and Scaffoldings. Perform a day-to-day supervision of assigned personnel to guarantee that all work performed meets the applicable codes and standards/specifications corresponding to target KPI with excellent quality. Successfully perform structural analysis adequacy /code checking possessing a working knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and specifications that govern civil and structural work using NSCP2015, BS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, API, UBC, TIA-EIA 222G, DEP Standard and AS (Australian Standards). Merwin has extensive knowledge in PIP (Process Industry Practice). Ensure that the requirements were complete within the agreed schedule. Proficient in usage of various engineering and analysis software such as PLS-Tower, SPACE GASS, RISA-3D and STAAD Pro. Also familiar with PCA Col, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Smart Plant Review (SPR). Able to create excel based program for design purposes. Merwin has the ability to coordinate and interact with different disciplines and counterparts regarding subject matter or for work packages (Pre-Turnaround, PRE-TAR) requirement. Act as team lead, checker and overall in charge for Civil Structural and Architectural department
