Project details
Do you have data in a CSV, Excel, or text file, that you need to reformat, analyze, check, clean, summarize, and/or export to another system? I can create a custom macro-enabled Excel spreadsheet that will import, process, and export your data automatically. Imports can be from a fixed, or user-selected folder. Imported data is searched by the headings in row 1 (not assumed to be in fixed columns), so if the columns change in the import file, the macro will still work OK. For Standard and Advanced level, I can also add a table listing the imported data headings, so they are easy to edit (without changing the macro code) if the headings in the source data change.
For large data sets, I use global formulas and sorting (rather than stepping through the data row by row), which GREATLY reduces the macro run time.
I've created dozens of custom Excel files to process data for (or from) QuickBooks, Sage, Shopify, ADP, etc. If you have questions about your particular project, feel free to contact me through the Upwork app. I'd be glad to do an online meeting / screen share (free of charge) to discuss your project.

NOTE that I work in Excel (for Windows). I do NOT work with Google Sheets or Excel for Mac, since I have found both of those platforms to have some significant incompatibilities with Excel for Windows.
Also NOTE that my high number of open contracts is due to many of my clients leaving our Upwork contract open perpetually, so they can come back to me for additional projects. Also note that I have recently closed a number of these long-term (2+ years) open contracts, resulting in a number of "No feedback given" entries in my Job History. These were all satisfied, long-term clients (whom I am now working for directly); there is no feedback because the contracts were closed by me, rather than by the client.

Specify requirements
You will specify the input / reference data to be used, steps involved in processing / analyzing the data, and outputs required. You should provide sample input and output files, any reference tables that are needed, and written instructions.
