Over 20 years ago I started creating websites from a custom Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP stack to Expression Engine CMS to now, the industry-standard WordPress CMS. I worked as a solo Freelancer and eventually expanded my team to include Web Developers, Graphics Designers, Video Editors and Virtual Assistants in the Philippines.

I found my love for Web Design & Development in high school where I led the creation of the very first HTML-based School Annual / Yearbook on a CD-ROM in 1998 with my fellow Computer Science classmates. I started everything from manually coding HTML and JavaScript by hand to taking photos from our very first school digital camera. We manually also scanned student photos and digitized video clips to preserve our precious high school memories digitally. I won the Book Award for Computer Science.

With my appreciation of computers and the internet, I enrolled in the Media Arts Core Studies (MACS) at the Centre of Digital Imaging and Sound in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. I then focused on the WebMasters Program (WMP) where we learned how to manage servers and code in Microsoft’s ASP script. This started my career into created websites
