Confidential Investment Forecasts
This project was very successful. This project built on prior projects and Matt created an automated solution that combines my team’s best thinking, our prior projects, and Matt’s considerable expertise in investments and statistics. The solution incorporates Excel, Python and ChatGPT and allows us to update and refine our investment forecasts on an ongoing basis. We look forward to using those tools and working with Matt again in the future.

Model for time series
Matt did an excellent job on this project. This was the second time we hired him and I am very happy that I turned him loose on this difficult assignment. We have what we believe are unusual and complicated factors that explain investment behavior. We asked him to a) scrutinize in a critical way how explanatory the factors are, and b) to determine ways to make them more effective. He performed detailed analyses and did his own critical thinking about the dataset and was indeed able to provide greatly improve the factors. He was dedicated to developing robust and defensible factors and a final model to demonstrate the results. His advice to me about how to move forward has been invaluable.
