I would like to go on record as stating that this categorically does not represent my level of service.
This error occurred last year due to two unfortunate circumstances:
1. I joined UpWork a year before the Covid lockdown freelance stampede, during this time my rating was always 100%. Then one day UpWork changed the way this result is calculated by it's algorithm - which meant it dropped to 89% overnight.
2. After investigating I was told that in order for the UpWork algorithm to register a job as successfully completed in the agreed time, we are supposed to finalise and close each contract manually, something I had never done. So even after payment has been received and my work has been reviewed by the client - it's still logged as incomplete until finalised by me.
