I lean more towards backend development where possible as I'm much more interested in building beautiful systems which handle your data however I'm more than capable of setting up the frontend if it's required.
My past projects include a back office system which manages the main casino game site. We use the back office daily and it required authentication and roles, logging of every modification, management of data and creation of accounts. I chose NestJS for the backend as it works very well with Typescript and does a lot of grunt work for you.
For the new project I've chosen NestJS once again and NextJS for the frontend. It's a lotto site which will allow users to buy lottery tickets and then get their results and withdraw their winnings.
I would much rather build bespoke software for you however I'm no stranger to wordpress sites.
