My remote work journey began in 2019 working for an advertising agency as a virtual assistant for the CEO. I had many responsibilities such as preparing contracts, setting up proposals for the clients, providing customer service, and setting up meetings among many other tasks.
After the pandemic I started working as a remote appointment setter and customer service specialist; this has been a long and enriching journey; I have worked with various clients: selling social media management platforms, selling courses for financial advisors and also setting up appointments for medical patients. In my last job I was promoted to virtual assistant in a company that sold Forklift repair services.
Among the skills I have nourished to thrive in this field I could metion empathy, organizational skills, resourcefulness, computer savvyness, eloquent speech and writing skills, patience, persevearance and of course, impecable work ethic. All this time I have acquired and sharpened many skills that are very useful in this field. I have always been inclined to think that there is only one way to do a job and that is a job well done! for me, it's crucial to have great organizational skills, attention to detail and an impeccable work ethic; other important qualities would include being proactive and empathetic.
Since I started as a customer service specialist; my proficiency both in English and Spanish as well as my personality and my life experience has given me an edge in terms of how to deal with people over the phone; being able to express myself spontaneously and empathetically. I am always open to the chance to sharpen my skills and learn new ones to be better every day at my job. I'm looking forward to meeting you and hope we can work together
