You will receive a statistical analysis of psychological data, which can include survey data or behavioral performance. The service includes a discussion to clarify the information and analyses that you need from the data; data preprocessing; and visualization where appropriate. Based on extensive experience and expertise in this kind of research, I'll likely be able to help with complex, non-standard problems. Another interest of mine is metascience and research knowledge translation - societal research impact, philosophy of science / methodology, research ethics, and efficient support systems for research. For instance, I've worked extensively on assessing and evidencing the translation of research to real-life benefits, e.g., commercialization, policy change, or improved practice, in the context of the national REF2021 research evaluation exercise.
As a senior lecturer, I've taught professionals, laypeople, and students about statistics, addiction, cognitive neuroscience, and the use of technology in psychology. This work included all aspects of course design and administration and delivery of lectures and workshops. My experience in academia has also provided me with insight into higher education as an industry and into its policies, incentives, and ethical issues.
