Landing Page/Web Designer for High-Converting Landing Page - Cerebras Systems Q4 2024 IPO
Design and User Experience: The page lacks structure, clear visual hierarchy, and engaging visuals. There are no infographics or relevant imagery to help guide users, and the typography and color scheme do not create a cohesive brand identity. Additionally, the page doesn’t appear to be fully responsive, leading to poor user experience across devices.
Content and Messaging: The headline and subheading are weak, lacking a clear value proposition, and the content is far too brief, missing key details about Cerebras’ competitive advantages over Nvidia. Furthermore, the absence of a clear CTA and social proof makes the page ineffective in converting visitors into leads.
Form Issues and Mismanagement: The form, which was a critical component of the landing page, was far from sufficient. It lacked essential fields such as investment range, accreditation status, and other important qualifiers for lead generation. Additionally, there were no bot protection measures, like CAPTCHA, making it vulnerable to spam.
To resolve this, I hired another developer to improve the form, and they added key features, including an email verification loop and more detailed questions. However, Sam's team later went into the page, removed the email verification added by the other developer, and falsely claimed they were the ones who added the additional form fields. I have both videos from the developers as proof of this action.
Conversion Optimization: The page fails to create urgency or highlight the unique benefits of Cerebras’ technology. Messaging is not tailored to address specific audience pain points, and there’s no clear direction for the visitor to take next, making it less effective in converting visitors into leads.
Technical SEO: The meta tags, titles, and page speed are not optimized, which could negatively impact search engine rankings and overall user experience. SEO efforts appear to be lacking, which is critical for visibility.
Value for Money: At a cost of $1,500, the landing page falls short in delivering the level of quality and functionality expected. A high-converting page should include:
Engaging design with visuals and interactive elements
A clear, compelling value proposition
Strong, tailored messaging with a clear CTA
Social proof and detailed content
A functional, optimized form with proper lead qualification and email verification features

High Converting Landing Page
Sam did a fantastic job on our landing page. We needed something optimized for conversion rate with a focus on branding/design as well and he completely smashed it. We love the page.
He got it done in under 2 weeks - from the copy to draft to final implementation. It was completely hands off on our end and the copy was good. Made a few minor changes in wording but that's obviously to be expected.
Go ahead and do yourself a favor and pay the right price for someone who does the job right. You'll end up saving lots of money and headache.
