I'm a Cloud Engineer with strong previous experience as a Linux Systems Administrator. I've had the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies such as AWS in the cloud realm, as well as the web hosting industry as a Linux Administrator for cPanel and HostGator.com.
My previous experience includes manually and automating website migrations, handling domain management anywhere from transfers or registration. Setting up Linux web hosting environments, configuring cPanel, PHP, Python, MySQL, and turning kernel parameters to achieve the best possible performance. In that same realm, I've managed WordPress sites hosted on various platforms and developed custom solutions using Python to achieve tasks otherwise not possible through the use of available plugins.
On the cloud side, I've worked for and with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provision EC2 instances, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, S3 Buckets, Auto Scaling Groups, ElastiCache, EBS. I'm capable of diagnosing and resolving boot issues, setting up packages, analyze CloudWatch metrics and tune services for enhanced performance while keeping cost savings in mind.
