I have over 5+ years of experience in using terraform and have deployed a lot of complex architectures in terraform, I have converted a lot of infrastructures manually deployed in cloud console(Web UI) to infrastructure as code using terraform and ansible.
Steps involved.
1. I will check the number of services that are launched in the cloud environment.
2. Evaluate the time it will take to convert them to terraform code.
3. Write terraform codes and import the infrastructure codes to terraform.
4. Organize them into global structure so that everyone who understands terraform can easily understand the codes.
5. Deliver the code to the client.
