You will get the codes of the 6 scripts whose execution results on Linux Ubuntu are shown in the gallery. For FTP transfer tests, the Ubuntu system is used as the FTP client and Mikrotik CCR Router is used as the FTP server. The Ubuntu system is connected to the Mikrotik as a remote monitor, so on Ubuntu, script execution and FTP files are monitored simultaneously. These scripts are not for direct usage, are for guiding you to write your own scripts. The names of the scripts are "fileselectmod.sh", "fileselectmod2.sh", "ftpput1.sh", "ftpputfiles.sh", "ftpputfiles2.sh" and "ftpmget.sh". You will install all these scripts and 10 testing files provided, in an empty directory. DO NOT INSTALL AND EXECUTE THEM IN A NON-EMPTY DIRECTORY, YOUR FILENAMES CHANGE. They consist of compact, easy-to-use, tested script commands that you can adapt to use separately or together for your routine file-managing work. Script "fileselectmod.sh" demonstrates the power of Linux bash commands. With one command line, you can find specific filenames and add date stamps to these filenames. With another command line, you can find specific filenames and change their extensions.
