Recreate Elementor Template Kit with Free Plugins
This is the worst experience I have had as a client on Upwork. I would NOT recommend hiring this freelancer in any way whatsoever.
The freelancer did not complete the job and stated repeatedly that he would not complete the job unless I paid him more money.
His written English was extremely poor, and he repeatedly made it appear that he could not understand what I was asking him to do AFTER he was hired and while continuing to request more money for the job.
I must point out that I sent clarifying information BEFORE hiring him, and to my question of "Are you able to do this?" he typed in Upwork Messages that he was able and understood what was expected. When he wanted to be paid before completing the work, it was then that I scrolled up in our messages and saw that he had gone back and deleted the message of understanding and then repeatedly held forth that I didn't provide clear instructions.
I must also point out that the job description included a link to a video tutorial. Even still, I added clarifying information in Upwork Messages again BEFORE hiring the freelancer. One of the questions the freelancer had to answer before submitting his proposal was if he had any questions about the job. His answer was "No."
In the end, I just paid him the contractual amount so I could block him to keep him from inundating me with more requests for more money. He even went so far as to ask me for the login credentials for my Envato Elements accounts, so he could go in and download assets. It was at this point that I decided it was time to cut my losses and chalk this up to a learned experience.
