In 2022 I've had just over one million Spotify streams, which is amazing and surreal because in the first 10 years of my career, I had almost no listeners. I did a lot of digging on that and found really good curators who do this for the love of music. There are some great pop music contacts among them! If they like your pop song, they will probably add it to their playlist, but remember it's NOT guaranteed or paid placements. They have every right to say no, it's a pitch.
