About Kevin
Professional Musician and Music Teacher
Round Rock, United States - 6:01 am local time
I earned my Associate Degree in Commercial Music Management from Austin Community College in 2012 and I've worked as a professional Audio Engineer and session drummer for the past 10 years, predominantly at 512 Studios with Omar Vallejo. I've also worked on several projects at Evenbreak Productions and Evil Snail Studios.
During my time at 512 Studios, we were voted “Best Recording Studio” in Austin for the 2016, 2018 and 2019 Austin Chronicle Music Industry Awards. I have been a tracking engineer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, producer, and drummer on many different styles ranging from Rock, Metal, Country, Hip-Hop and Tejano.
In addition, for the past 7 years, I've worked at School of Rock in Round Rock, Texas as a drums, bass, guitar, and performance program teacher. Presently, I am working with students of all ages and teaching music has become a passion of mine. I enjoy helping people discover the joy of learning music and the excitement someone gets when they finally master a song, chord, or beat.
I currently offer a few choices for lessons. I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons. I teach drums (beginner to advanced), guitar (beginner to intermediate) and bass (beginner to intermediate). I offer in person lessons to students in the Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto and Manor, Texas areas. I can either come to your home (drums, guitar and bass), or students can come to my home studio (guitar and bass only). I also offer online lessons via Zoom or Skype (guitar and bass only) for anyone worldwide.
