Hi, Yogesh Dayalan.
I am an experienced producer who makes everything from EDM to Hip Hop. I have studied music production for 6 years and I am very experienced in the industry. I will use Ableton Live 11, but the concepts we discuss will apply to any software. Lessons will be held over Discord/Zoom.
These are the topics to be covered in the 9 sessions:
1) Introduction to Ableton: Understanding the UI and basic interface.
2) Music Theory: If you are completely new to this, we go through basic music theory concepts.
3) Songwriting and composition: Understand how songs are composed and produced.
4) Sound design: How to use Synths(Serum/Vital/Sylenth1/Surge) to generate required sound.
5) Samples and plugins: How to sample sounds, use VST plugins and samplers
6) Production Techniques: learn common production techniques from professionally finished projects
7) Vocals/Sound recording and Processing: Understanding vocal recording, processing and added effects.
8) Mixing: What is mixing? Why mixing is necessary and how to do that in the right way?
9) Mastering: What is mastering? Why mastering is necessary? What is loudness?
