About Meriam

My formal training is in education, but I've had many experiences in sound design/editing, light design/editing, and video/audio production. Due to Covid this year, I've had to really up my video production game. I've even made "music episodes" for my students when I couldn't be in the classroom! We've also had to refrain from singing in the classroom, so I've created body percussion and steady beat videos that my students love.
Although this is not my field of expertise, I've learned that I have a natural vision and knack for video editing and design. In October, I started using Final Cut Pro X and learned a lot of amazing capabilities! I'm still learning and am always up to hearing suggestions on making my work visually better and efficient.
