As the client reaches over, I'll ask for a set of references for the work I'll be doing. Similar beats, similar sounds, inspiring artwork, anything is relevant to get the right idea for the sound.
First Draft
With all the references and ideas in hand, I start the first draft. A raw structure is built, following the previous brief.
