Although I spent 40+ years as an ice hockey coach, by about 1980, I became one of the first in my sport to use video -- for analyzing player skills, studying team strategies, and eventually for teaching all facets of the game. (My college advisor couldn't understand my mixing a Phys Ed & Coaching Major with Minor Degree studies in Radio & TV Production, but I suggested, "I believe video will someday be big in sports.")
In due time my instructional videos were being sold around the world, and by 2009 I made the switch from analog video to modern-day digital. It should make sense that I'd eventually retire from my first love to the safety of my second love and a video production studio.
Over forty years at a keyboard has provided me the chance to experiment with nearly every aspect of video creation -- from scriptwriting to audio editing to 2D and 3D animation to motion graphics to the final video production. If there's one area that fascinates me in recent years -- mainly because it also fascinates viewers -- it's "whiteboard" video animation.
