Understanding the Brief
This is where I familiarize myself with the requirements of the brief, understanding and visualizing the animation in my mind. It usually takes a few hours.
Story Board
This is where I sketch my imagination of the idea I feel works best for the project. I draw out each scene on a board with arrows pointing to what goes next, camera movements, interaction e.t.c. This takes about 2 hours for 2 or 3 ideas.
