Although I don't have much professional experience in vocal recording, this is a superlative opportunity for you. I have no annoying habits to break, and I'm a very teachable potential employee who is eager to work for you. I'm willing to follow a script to the letter or improvise, and I excel at following directions. I happily follow creative criticism and know how to give supportive feedback. I have a cheerful disposition, and can gladly manipulate my voice however the role requires. I can be silly or tantalizing, soothing or intense. I have drive and desire to make it in this arena. My regular speaking voice is quite pleasant. I have been told repeatedly that I need to be in voice acting. Speak to me and find out why! And I'm not too bad at singing vocals, either.

Music is my life. I have been songwriting since I was a teenager. I composed my first piece of music exactly 20 years ago as a present for my band director who was retiring the same year I was graduating high school. I got to conduct it as a surprise for him at our final concert. I did all of that with a free music composing software download and the music theory that I learned in grade school, and even though my walk in life took my work to a less creative path, I just can't stop coming back to music. I'm great at it because I love it. I can create very catchy tunes and beautiful soundtracks. From hip hop to jazz to chiptune to rock to mashups, you ask, I deliver.

I genuinely enjoy helping people. Empathy and diplomacy are important as well, both of which I have an abundance. Before my private contracting days, I had several retail management positions. Customers tended to wait until I was working to get their problems solved, even though I was only ever a shift manager or lead, because I'd always try my hardest to help them. Problem resolution always leaves me completely satisfied. I have a very high success rate with people that speak with me. I'm quick on my feet and can carry on several conversations at once in the event I need to reach out to multiple people on an issue, or if I need to keep in contact with a team on a project.

I have over three years of experience in independent contracting with legal transcription and proofreading, which requires very high-quality work. Many of the jobs are confidential, so I am also very respectful of clients' personal information and use software to shred it regularly. Google spreadsheets are created for each case and shared strictly within the company for verification and consistency, and access is regularly removed upon a person's departure from the company. This is part of my daily work, and I am meticulous about keeping everything consistent across the board.

I communicate well with administration, staff, and coworkers. It is necessary as an independent contractor, so it is now a habit. You will love our open lines of communication. If I don't get back with you immediately after attempted contact, count on it to be very soon after that!
