My name is Joel and I've been a freelance videographer for over a decade. Helping clients learn new skills in Adobe Premiere is a passion of mine. Whether you're new to video editing or looking for some help troubleshooting, I'm here to help!
Though there are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there, clients often tell me that they appreciate the ability to talk to a real person and ask questions as they are learning.
My philosophy of teaching is based on the idea that people generally remember 10% of what they hear, 30% of what they see, and 75% of what they do. That's just a fancy way of saying I let you practice what I'm demonstrating rather than just talking the entire time.
I work with celebrity impressionists making content for TikTok, streamers editing gaming montages for YouTube, professionals marketing their business on Instagram, and more. I also work with parents of 3rd-12th grade students who want to supplement their education with weekly video editing lessons... sort of like piano lessons but for editing!

Since 2012, I've been shooting, editing, and producing video content for clients like the Being Well Podcast, the Global Compassion Coalition, Snap-On, Rev.com, Fashion United, Music Forward, Western Seminary, Medical Sales College, and many more.

In addition to producing video, I teach and troubleshoot production software including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and OBS Studio. I am deeply knowledgeable, efficient, and fast at the edit.
