Project details
I will turn your audio files into a "3D" binaural audio environment. Using sound design and mixing techniques I can take mono or stereo files and edit them to become binaural. This could be useful for any podcast, audiobook or music artist that wants to stand out from the crowd and offer a different experience to It's listeners. It's no secret that a lot of people like to enjoy audio in headphones or earphones, so why not make the listening experience in headphones even better!

Mixing Engineer
• Primarily working on mixing music, working with clients on a
one to one basis to fulfil their mixing needs.
• This involved mixing clients vocals with instrumentals to
achieve a professional sounding product and making sure the
song is balanced in regards to volume and stereo imaging.
• This role was heavily based on taking feedback and in-depth
notes from clients and then trying to achieve the desired
sound using various VSTi plug-ins.
• Using VST plug-ins for pitch correction such as Auto-Tune
Melodyne and Waves-Tune. As well as other plug-ins to
enhance vocals in my various vocal chains.
• Using VST plug-ins such as Waves Bundle, Soundtoys, Fabfilter
Plugins and more to mix individual stems of instrumentals to
better fit the needs of the track.
Audio Editing
• On occasion I would diverge from my usual mixing of music to
mix various other audio projects such as podcasts and
audiobooks.
• For these projects it usually involved cleaning up audio signals
using the RX-8 Bundle of plug-ins.
• Mixing spoken word audio signals to make them sound clearer
and more pleasing to the ear.
• Adding SFX (from my wide library of sound effects which I
have collected over the years) to emphasise certain parts of
podcasts and audiobooks, or for transitions into different
segments.

•I create melodies for producers to use in their
song with artists all around the world.
• I record guitar, keys and use virtual instruments to create
these melodies using DAW's such as FL Studio and Ableton
Live and Pro Tools.
• I mix these songs using plugins such as the Waves Bundle,
Soundtoys, Fabfilter Plugins and many more.

• Using sound effects and recorded voice to tell a story through
audio.
• These projects are uploaded to YouTube where they have
amassed hundreds and thousands of views.
• Using my experience in immersive audio I use plug-ins to create a
“3d” binaural audio environment in which the listener can
experience audio like never before.
• Involves creative thinking to create stories using only audio.

• The subjects I covered included recording and mixing music. From
the studio settings all the way to live sound. This is where I learned
many of the basics of the craft which I have later honed and
improved upon.
• As part of my degree I completed a 14,000 word dissertation on a
topic of my choosing. I elected to research the marketing of music,
comparing independent artists to mainstream record labels.
