Editor, Storyteller, Video Craftsman
Glendale, United States - 7:39 am local time
I started editing while working as a producer in Hollywood and cut entertainment and corporate projects for a large production company. I continued in the SoCal area doing TV pilots and teasers, commercials, continuing with all kinds of corporate, medical, technical, and entertainment projects.
As an experienced editor, I love taking raw footage, whether B-roll or interviews, (or both), and with a script or without, add music, graphics, color and motion to craft the material into a cohesive story.
I absolutely love the process of cutting rambling interviews into tight cohesive story elements that can then be used like a writer uses words to deliver well-spoken messages. I succeed as an editor because, as a filmmaker, I understand the arc of a story and how to pace an edit to deliver the story in ways that connect with an audience.
I can take your raw materials as delivered, and after a conversation with you, go away and return with a finished product that will play like a film. I can also take your raw materials and with only your stated objective, do the same.
I thrive on taking your parts and pieces, finding the story, and cutting them together to be as entertaining and complete as possible. I have years of experience working with music, animation, graphics, color and sound. I will be proactive in telling your story and will be a collaborator with you, and not just a robotic assembler of your footage.
If you don't know your story we can talk, and I'll help you find it.
My Expertise:
Commercials • Documentaries, (Long & Short Form) • Television • Corporate Video • Assembling Hybrid Meeting Broadcast Reels • Travel & Promotional • Medical Symposia • Speeches • Mulit-camera • Social Media
Each project, like each objective, is different. To begin we'll have a conversation to discover your needs and objectives for the project. If you have it all designed and scripted, I will edit to match your specs. If you're not sure what you need, I will help you figure it out.
An hourly rate is shown here, but some projects are best approached with a contract rate. Either way, once we've had a conversation I will be able to suggest the most economic approach to your project. My goal is to create a relationship with you, your agency, your company, or non-profit and supply you with the best media you can get. From a 15-second TikTok to a 108-minute documentary, I will give you the best service, style, and work ethic you'll find anywhere.
Reach out, and let's talk about how I can become a member of your storytelling team.
