Prices are based on word count and the type of editing requested. It breaks down as follows:
Starter/Tier 1 - $10/1,000 words
Standard/Tier 2 - $20/1,000 words
Advanced/Tier 3 - $30/1,000 words
Starter/Tier 1 - Proofreading includes checking for grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
Standard/Tier 2 - Proofreading and line/copy editing, including reorganizing the content to make it easier to read and follow, arranging text and images on the page to create a document for print, and providing feedback on the content, language, tone, storyline, etc.
Advanced/Tier 3 - Proofreading, line/copy editing, and substantive editing, including fact-checking and rewriting existing content to improve readability and flow.
For example, if you have a 3,000-word article and desire proofreading, line/copy editing, and substantive editing, then the price is $90.
