Over the past three years, I have built upon this experience working as a freelance editor. During this time, I have gained experience editing for people of different nationalities and varying levels of writing ability. I have also gained more experience working on non-fiction work, such as academic essays and online content.
My biggest strength is my ability to make a piece of text not only coherent but engaging. If a piece of writing is perfect grammatically and aesthetically but devoid of anything that would draw a reader in, I wouldn't consider that piece of writing to be finished.
While my main strength is editing, I am also a keen and capable writer and opportunities to use this skill, such as ghost writing or writing copy, would certainly appeal to me as well.

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Jay can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Jay receives requirements from you.
Jay works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Receive Document
Upon ordering, you will be asked to upload your document for editing (ideally a Microsoft Word file, though I am able to edit in other programs as well).
Line Edit (for Standard and Advanced tiers)
I will work through your document, correcting any issues which impact the flow and clarity of the writing to ensure that it is as strong as it can be. If you have ordered the Advanced tier, I will also leave comments and suggestions throughout.
