Before anything, please allow me to introduce myself. I promise I'll try to keep it short!
For a long time, I've been interested in knowing more about different cultures, languages, countries, and the world we live. And in the International Relations major, I saw the opportunity to study and be in a field I was already familiar with.
• I'm very communicative, talkative, and I love meeting new people! I can put these skills into practice while working as a recruiter in an international translation agency, where I recruit language professionals with a technical background in industries such as IT, engineering, and many others, for over 200 languages, from all over the world.
• In the International Relations major I learnt a lot about empathy and understanding people from different cultures and backgrounds, as well as negociating and debating into the final result I expected. Combining these with my communication skills I came to a result of being the Manager of Sales of the second biggest office in AIESEC in Brazil in 2020 (among +50 offices) and in the top 10 Global (among +120 countries).
• Writing and reading are big hobbies of mine! Mixing them with my passion for different languages, I found the translation field. I have translated multiple subjects, from academic articles to websites, presentations, and general translations. When working on translation projects, I pay attention to the message the clients want the reader to understand: I don't deliver a simple translation, I deliver the whole experience. I make sure to translate not only the words but the meaning and the tone behind them. That way, it will be a text that will make sense to the reader and not just a robotic translation.
• I also have experience as a Community Manager and Social Media! I'm great at creating designs, posts, and creating marketing strategies that will boost your profile and/or your company!
