EDITORS NEEDED for Historical Romance Novels - Long -Term Work Icarus has helped us a great deal with our publications, and his skills are very strong in editing a piece of fiction. I'd prefer better communication when it came to installments he didn't particularly like editing himself as there weren't constructive solutions from his side on how to approach the issues he had identified, like the author not addressing the edits the way he wanted them to be addressed.

We had to end the contract because, on a short notice, he let us know that he won't be able to take on new projects. We did complete the outstanding ones, which is something for which we're grateful.

I do recommend his editing services, though, as he really is very skilled at what he does, I just think there should be a bit more discussion from his side when it comes to how he can resolve problems that he identifies in a manuscript, problems that might thwart his own editing of the piece in the long run. Some compromises are inevitable in our line of business.
