Because a project like this is rather involved and complex, the timeline of seventy days is probably over-optimistic, and a more appropriate timeline will have to be agreed upon. I write three to five (possibly more) pages of the book and send it of to the client for them to review and confirm that the style fits with their vision. If not, I make suggested changes and have the client review it again.
Periodic payments upon delivery of material.
As a project such as this requires all of my time, I'll have to dedicate many hours per day to it, at the expense of any other source of income. As such, I'll require bi-weekly installments based on the overall cost of the project.
