My work in journalistic writing and editing began in the early 2000s, and later I transitioned to editing and proofreading for professional, academic, and policy writing. Over the past several years, I have expanded my portfolio to include creative editing, including novels, short stories, screenplays, and theatrical works. I also read voraciously, averaging 2-3 books per week.
I am an award-winning writer, whose work earned one of five 2022 fellowships in the Women in Film and Video Narrative Script Development Program.
I have over a decade of experience in federal government work, and I am available for accuracy reads of creative works set in the political realm.
I am an expert with resumes. I have been responsible for reviewing and selecting resumes in multiple positions over the past 12 years, and have regularly edited and proofread resumes for professional applicants.
I also have extensive experience writing grant applications, and would be happy to write or edit applications as needed.
