Project details

While there are many stories of children with epilepsy, few adults are sharing their experiences. I have adult onset epilepsy and am breaking the mold by sharing my experiences. I write about eastern and western medicine, talking about what has worked and what hasn't. I tell stories about discrimination in daily life. I open doors of understanding to those who have never had a seizure and support others with epilepsy through the ups and downs of life.

I've also worked in education at all levels from being a child care teacher, special education and clerical substitute staff person, and program staff coordinating internships across Minnesota for the Center for Small Towns at the University of Minnesota Morris.
