The COVID-19 pandemic and its response have had a significant psychological impact on people of all ages worldwide, resulting in disrupted interpersonal relationships. The objective of this study was to find out how young adults' romantic relationships deteriorated during the lockdown and how they contributed to suicide. To achieve our goal, we used the content analysis strategy that focused on love-related suicides among college and university students of Bangladesh. For this study, we looked at 22 press media reports published between March 2020 and February 2021. We collected narrative descriptions of suicide incidents from 14 Bangladeshi print and online newspapers using the purposive sampling method, and we cross-checked them against multiple sources before the investigation. According to our findings, the female to male suicide ratio is 59:41, and the cases were reported from 18 districts, with 13 reports in the Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions.
