Are you looking for a decent, professional beta reader for your fantasy manuscript? I can help. I'll provide you with a detailed report on your book, explaining what works well in the story and which parts would benefit from further development. I make on-page annotations about my impressions and any questions that arise during my reading. Previous clients have said this is useful because it allows you to see what a reader is thinking at each stage in your novel. It's always better to know if your reader is confused, or if they have guessed a plot twist early in the book.
In my beta report, I comment on:
• Characters (their motivations, relationships, dialogue, likeability, character arc)
• World building (whether it's fully established, whether your world is believable and vividly described)
• Plot & story (is it compelling enough? Are the themes well-explored? Are there plot holes?)
• Structure & pace (are the events of your novel moving quickly enough? Would it be better to cut parts?)
Wherever I identify issues, I will recommend a way to fix them in the beta report. All the suggestions I make are intended to make your story as tight as it can be.
