About half of my clients are startups, with the other half being small-to-medium sized businesses. My clients usually are either tech businesses, or tech-enabled, but I've worked with companies in a wide variety of industries.
The most common projects clients bring to me include privacy compliance, cybersecurity compliance, website terms, social media policies, and brand protection issues. I also do a fair amount of entity formation and structure work, and, of course, contract drafting and review.
Some companies I have worked with in various legal capacities include Wikipedia, SXSW, and Bumble. However, the companies I've been most hands-on with are generally at six or seven figures of annual revenue.
Outside of legal work, I work on my own startup (trying to reduce the need for legal work!), code various projects that are either practical or just for fun, tinker with my 3D printer, or just hang with my family!
