Project details
In academic publishing, it is important to anticipate reviewers' queries, so that one may either revise his/her article or put together a cogent response, before the article is submitted.
This project offers a professional peer review for academic manuscripts in the field of civil/mechanical/aerospace engineering. Nearly all sub-disciplines in these fields are covered. The service is especially beneficial to researchers aiming to publish in highly esteemed academic journals.
The review includes proofreading/editing for proper word usage, sentence structure, readability, narrative flow, and academic-writing style.
I am a published author in international peer-reviewed journals of high repute, with an h-index and an i-10 index of 4. My publications have garnered over 150 citations on Google Scholar. I routinely review for high impact factor journals by Elsevier, Sage, World Scientific, Taylor and Francis, AIAA, ASME and ASCE.
Before buying the project, please ensure that the total word length of your document (including footnotes, figure/table captions, but excluding references, algorithms, and pseudo-codes) does not exceed the prescribed word limit of the tier.

Job Success
Bengaluru, India - 5:11 pm local time
(1) I am currently only accepting hourly projects at the rate of at least 60 USD/hr, preferably those with a potential to turn into a long-term association.
(2) I prefer to work with industry professionals over academic researchers, since the former category of clients tend to have well-defined deliverables and reasonable time-frames. However, if an academic problem is sufficiently novel and interesting, I could be persuaded (not only to join, but at a lower rate too)!
(3) TLDR; If you're offering an hourly project, please don't ask how many hours will be needed to complete the job. Why? Read on...
Although it is sometimes possible to approximately predict the number of hours required to finish a job before an offer is made, this is always at best an informed guess, and I - like most freelancers who've been in the game long enough - always try to err on the conservative side. So my advise is simple - Trust the freelancer to know what she's doing, and IF you have reasons to suspect their competence and/or sincerity, feel free to terminate the project at any time.
In reciprocating this trust, I promise to refund the entirety of the first week's earnings if you choose to terminate the project anytime in the first week on the grounds of incompetence, no questions asked - although thankfully it has never come to that for me so far.
(4) For scientific computing, I exclusively use Matlab (or GNU Octave, if open source is a project requirement). For Finite Element Analysis, I mostly either write codes from scratch in Matlab (for special purpose finite elements), or (somewhat reluctantly) use Ansys. I *do not* code in C, C++, Python, Scilab etc. I *do not* use Abaqus, NASTRAN etc.
(5) I have had very little experience working with a team - my favorite work-setting is me left alone to work tirelessly on a well-defined problem until the desired output is achieved.
