I offer a variety of services which include but are not limited to:
**Services Combine at a Cheaper Rate**

1.) Sample Edit - To get a feel for what type of edit(s) your particular book or paper may require. (FREE under 1000 words)

2.) Critique - A read-through of your literature or piece of literature for honest feedback without any editing done. (1 cent per word - no edits)

3.) Developmental edit / Content Edit - Focuses on writing style, looks for pacing issues, storyline inconsistency. NOT focused on grammar and sentence structure, but overall story development. Primarily feedback-oriented with a written report at the end talking about potential changes or tweaks. ( 1 cent per word - Written report at the end given to the client as well as active communication, calls, and emails.)

4.) Line Edits - Analyzes writing style, word usage, repetition, etc. Looking to see if your idea is portrayed clearly and precisely to your audience. (1.5 cents per word - edits are made to the text to ensure sentences are correct, clear, and nonrepetitive)

5.) Copy Edit - Technical evaluation to see if all the writing rules are followed. Spelling, grammar, incorrect word usage, etc. (1.5 cents per word - edits are made to individual words, typically paired with a line edit)

6.) Proofreading - A full read-through focusing on spelling, typos, and basics. This service does not focus on story or word usage. (1 cent per word - spelling, and typos are fixed without grammar or word change)

7.) Sensitivity Edit - A careful read-through and newer service offered to check for sensitive content such as racism, sexual situations, etc. Primarily to correct wording and to still stay to the author's intent in a sensitive and non-offensive manner. (2 cents per word - a full read-through ignoring all grammar and spelling but primarily focused on sensitive topics and wording there within.)

My name is Greg Goldman. I am a professional editor and have been working in document management for about 6 years. I have done so with two of the countries top nuclear laboratories. I am an avid reader of fantasy! While I am freshly out of the US Army, my passion still resides in literature and physics. Allow me to give you a free sample of my editing technique for your or your companies literature! I pride myself on timely responses, and as an editor, I am always a direct extension of my client. Allow me to be the bridge that gaps you and your audience!
