We will begin with a brainstorming session to pick a topic and get you started with an outline. (If you already have a draft, you can send it to me and we will go from there.) I will then help you revise and edit the draft and have a follow-up call to discuss the first found of revisions. After further changes are made, I will make a second-round edit and, finally, a full and meticulous proofreading of the statement.
All revisions will be made in track changes in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and will include edits and comments as well as a short feedback section. The final draft will be fully edited and submission-ready.

First Revision
The first-round revision will examine the statement’s overall structure and narrative: Is the essay organized efficiently? Does it demonstrate your story in an authentic and focused way? Does it need more information?
Second revision
The second-round revision will sharpen the paragraphs and sentences. This will be, in effect, a prose-editing job. Once those changes have been made, I will then make a final copyedit of the draft, making it submission-ready.
