Being a published author is wonderful but I wanted to do more with the craft that I love, so in 2018 I returned to study and achieved my Certificate in Applied Copyediting & Proofreading.
Since then I have edited fiction and non-fiction books, articles, web copy and a Martial Arts Magazine. I work with UK and US English.
Before I became an author and editor I have had a variety of careers; shop assistant; barmaid; office administrator; masseuse; aromatherapist; yoga teacher; karate teacher; pet sitter; merchandiser; partnered with my husband in our carpentry business and our karate club. I am now a proud member of the Ultimate 48 Hour Author Team.
Pre-pandemic we have travelled extensively throughout Asia and Nepal and even climbed to Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas with our teenage daughter. We are looking forward to traveling again in the future but for now we are happy to grow our garden and take care of our dogs here in Perth.
