I'm a native Dutchie with a passion for words, language, and psychology. As a fiction writer myself, I know it can get difficult to see the errors in your own work. Not to worry! That's where I come in.
I edit thoroughly to make sure all those mistakes come to light, and I give suggestions when I feel some parts could be written differently (either due to repetitive word choice, awkward phrasing, or ambiguity).
My past as a psychology student (specifically developmental psychology & education) makes me a great choice for any self-help nonfiction in the psychological realm. In addition, my experience as a researcher (who has published several academic papers) has given me the tools to help you with editing any academic psychology paper.

Scanning document
I go over the document briefly to note down any errors that stand out or seem to be made most often, as well as to note down any words specific to the story and how these are spelled.
Proofread document
I comb through the document to catch any errors I might find. If some sentences or paragraphs seem unclear or might have other issues outside of the scope of a proofread, I will flag these with comments.
