Project details
I will bring compassion and professionalism to your project and partner with you to get your academic article publication-ready.
My past editing work includes articles published in academic journals, research presented at conferences, book chapters, grant applications, and self-evaluation letters for tenure-track faculty. I specialize in the social sciences and humanities, although, if your work is in another field, I will review it and give you an honest answer about whether or not I can do you justice.
If English is not your first language, I can help. As a native speaker of American English, I've worked with non-native English speakers to ensure their work is fluid and sounds like it was written by a native English speaker.
If you're reading this, my guess is that you have already spent months researching and writing, and you now just need some editing help to pull through this last stretch of getting your work ready to send for publication. I am here for you. Throughout the process, I will be friendly, professional, kind, and on time. Together, we will get you there! 💪🏼

Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Sarah can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Sarah receives requirements from you.
Sarah works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Send close edit to client
This first editing phase includes everything from mechanical edits to suggestions on individual sentence construction, ranging from catching typos and spelling errors to correcting punctuation and grammar to fixing dangling modifiers and more.
Send substantive edit to client
This second editing phase is where I zoom out and review structure, flow, and balance. For example, do you state that you'll tackle two main topics, only to allocate different amounts of analysis to each? Is the order of the sections confusing?
