I am a native English speaker. I have a degree in English Literature and history, and I have been working as a teacher for over twelve years. I have experience in copy-editing, proofreading, and creative writing.
I have worked as a copywriter/editor for over six years. During this time, I have written and edited multitudes of texts. I worked on the second edition of a fiction book that was recently published. My job was to check for inconsistencies in the plot and edit them. I looked for punctuation errors in the book and corrected them too. The book had a lot of special language in it and so my job was to ensure the special language, the author had created, was spelt correctly.
Furthermore, I have written and edited texts for company websites, educational articles, sports articles, and articles about social media. I am currently working on a project which involves composing business articles.
As well as my copy-editing experience, I spend a lot of my free time writing. I usually write fiction texts and compose lyrics for songs. I edit the fiction texts myself, and I will publish the project that I am currently working on.
