I love supporting clients who need guidance in their academic writing and research. My typical clients come to me for editing, proofreading or research at a high standard.
My doctoral degree included years of research-orientated study where I designed and executed my own qualitative research. My PhD consisted of a case study which, using a practice theory lens, studied how local government staff and volunteers practised intercultural policy. My PhD experience has given me skills in conducting qualitative research, creating literature reviews, and editing and proofreading academic writing.
As a freelancer, I’ve edited and proofread academic and non-academic writing, reviewed literature, sourced information, and provided academic support for undergraduate and postgraduate students who need some extra guidance. I enjoy working in the following capacities:
