I hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering—post Ph.D. I have worked in different areas relating to biomaterials, plastic, and polymers. In the process, I have gained experience in various fields while still focusing on plastic and polymers.
I also assist clients in data collection and generation, design and running of experiments, and development of plastic and polymer formulations. I have a strong interest and experience in bioplastics and biopolymers and plastic recycling.
I have prior experience working as an industrial research officer, university lecturer, and consultant for several companies internationally. I have also designed and facilitated several training programs for professionals, students, and the general public in different aspects of plastics and polymers.
I authored the book Aquatic Biopolymers understanding their environmental impact and economic significance, published by Springer. I also co-authored and edited the book; "Natural Polymers industry techniques and applications." I have also published research in various reputable journals internationally.
