Freelancer Basic is your default free plan included for registered Upwork users.

We provide an option to upgrade any time to Freelancer Plus for full access to Uma, 10x the monthly allotment of Connects, and more.

Log in to upgrade:

• Go to Settings › Memberships & Connects
• Select Change plan
• Click the ‘Upgrade to Plus’ button

Memberships are not eligible for a refund after purchase, but can be canceled at anytime.

Select users may see an option for an annual Freelancer Plus subscription.  When this option is displayed, you can compare monthly and annual plans for your subscription. Learn more

If you choose to upgrade, your Freelancer Plus subscription is billed every month on the same date. Your new Connects will be added on the same date.
