Practically overnight, 40% of full-time workers disappeared from their desks. The Great Resignation had them quitting their 9-to-5s faster than you can say “work-life balance.” Freedom had become as non-negotiable as a salary. Frustrated and alarmed, managers needed a solution fast.
Our task was to shift the anxiety companies felt into an invitation to work with the best talent out there. What if the right person for the job suddenly emerged and things actually did just fall into place? With The Perfect Fit, that’s exactly what happens.

The campaign launched with a live TV spot during the NFL Thanksgiving Day game, showing the world how talent can fall right into place. Digital advertising followed on BBC, CNN, Entrepreneur, Vice, Fast Company, Inc., Vox, and Fortune across video, social, and OOH.
The executions reinforced that people could find the talent they needed, regardless of location.

The message was heard loud and clear, outperforming our previous top-performing campaign by over 300% and making The Perfect Fit Upwork’s single best-performing campaign to date. The campaign won "Best Marketing and Collaborative Effort" at the ANA Awards and also took home a Silver Medal for TV and Web at the In House Agency Forum Awards.
The best part? We created it with our in-house team and the support of freelancers from our platform. Because, just as for our clients, the right resources fall into place when you make the world your workforce.
