This project is starting from ground zero for the brand. Hers is what my expectations are:
Brand Overview: Provide an overview of the brand, including its mission, vision, values, and positioning in the market. I can provide more details around the mission, vision & values as I have documents to share on those.
Logo Usage: Specify rules for the usage of the logo, including size, placement, color variations, and clear space requirements. Include guidelines for both digital and print applications.
Color Palette: Define the brand's primary and secondary color palette, including the specific color codes (e.g., RGB, CMYK, HEX) and guidance on when and how to use each color.
Typography: Specify the fonts or typefaces that should be used in the brand communications, including guidelines for headings, body text, and other typographic elements. Provide examples of proper font pairings and usage.
Visual Elements: Outline guidelines for other visual elements such as imagery, graphics, patterns, and icons. Include rules for image style, composition, and tone to maintain visual consistency.
Voice and Tone: Define the personality, voice, and tone of the brand's communications. Provide examples of appropriate language, messaging, and communication style for different contexts and audiences.
Brand Messaging: Provide key messaging points and brand narratives to guide communication about the brand, products, value proposition and services.
Brand Assets: Provide downloadable assets such as logos, templates, icons, and imagery for easy access by internal and external stakeholders.
Usage Guidelines: Include guidelines for how the brand should be represented in various contexts, such as advertising, marketing materials, social media, packaging, and signage.
Experience:
Proven experience in branding and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful brand identity projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret and translate brand objectives into visual concepts effectively.
Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to design, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
Understanding of branding principles, including color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Experience creating brand guidelines and style guides, with a focus on clarity, comprehensiveness, and usability.
Flexibility to incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to achieve the desired brand identity.
Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in branding and marketing.
Experience creating 3D packaging designs for CPG products
