Job Title: Shopify E-commerce Tech Manager

Summary
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Shopify Ecommerce Tech Manager to lead the optimization, integration, and maintenance of our Shopify-powered online store. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, proven experience managing integrations with major online marketplaces, and a track record of streamlining ecommerce operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving revenue growth, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our ecommerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store, including theme customization, app selection and configuration, product setup, and order management workflows.
Marketplace Integrations: Seamlessly integrate our Shopify store with major marketplaces (e.g.,Onport, Convictional). Manage product listings, inventory synchronization, order fulfillment, and marketplace-specific requirements.
API and Third-Party Integrations: Identify, evaluate, and implement 3rd party apps and tools to enhance Shopify's functionality (e.g., shipping, marketing automation, payment gateways). Manage API integrations to streamline backend operations.
Performance Optimization: Analyze website performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in areas like site speed, conversion rate, and user experience. Implement solutions to boost overall website efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Support: Proactively diagnose and resolve technical issues with the Shopify platform, marketplace integrations, or other interconnected systems. Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when necessary.
Project Management: Lead ecommerce technology-related projects, setting clear timelines, managing deliverables, and ensuring successful implementation.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, customer service, and development teams to align ecommerce technology initiatives with overall business objectives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Shopify Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience building, managing, and customizing Shopify stores. Deep familiarity with Shopify Liquid, themes, and the app ecosystem.
Marketplace Experience: Proven experience integrating Shopify with major online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.). Understanding of marketplace listing requirements, inventory management best practices, and order fulfillment processes.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues within complex ecommerce environments.
Project Management Skills: Excellent organization, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks within multifaceted projects.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with other ecommerce platforms (BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento).
Understanding of digital marketing and SEO best practices.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
