Job Description:
I am seeking a personable Chief of Staff - Talent Acquisition Specialist. Your focus will be on recruiting and hiring to lead our talent acquisition efforts across 4 different brands (I'll list them below). The Chief of Staff will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing the hiring process, screening, interviewing, and attracting top talent to support our organization's growth and success. This is a part-time (beginner/intermediate) position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and establish hiring priorities based on organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for employment.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of job descriptions, job postings, and other recruitment materials to effectively communicate the organization's culture, values, and opportunities.
- Conduct regular assessments of the recruitment process and make recommendations for process improvements, efficiency gains, and best practices.
- Lead and coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for employees joining the organization.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and hiring managers.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, with a focus on achieving results and driving continuous improvement.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Basic knowledge of recruiting tools and technologies, upwork, job boards, social media platforms, and other sourcing channels.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, processes, and best practices (Bonus)
- Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources management, with a proven track record of success in sourcing and hiring top talent (Bonus)
- Technical recruiting experience (Bonus)
